Jimmy John’s Southern California continues its expansion.

The Jimmy John’s sandwich chain continues its expansion into Southern California, with a new location open in San Bernardino this week.

At 1060 Harriman Place, Suite C5, this new Jimmy John’s joins other Inland Empire locations in Fontana, Upland, Chino Hills, La Verne, Riverside and Temecula, along with about a dozen and a half other spots throughout Los Angeles and Orange counties.

The owners of the San Bernardino franchise are set to open another one in Redlands in the fall in the Mountain Grove shopping center.

But Jimmy John’s isn’t the only restaurant coming to Redlands in the fall.

The city will be home to Brätworks’ second location. The gourmet hot dog eatery is set to open at 360 Orange St. the beginning of September.

Sandwich-maker Jimmy John’s is positioning itself as the first national restaurant chain to come out publicly against third-party delivery apps like Uber Eats, GrubHub, and Door Dash. The company unveiled a new marketing campaign Thursday in which it vows never to use delivery apps, calling them notoriously unreliable, and lauding itself for bucking an industry trend.

“We want to control the experience from the fresh prep to the hand off to the customer,” said James North, CEO of Jimmy John’s, in a statement.
